Interesting article in today's FT with lots of interesting statistics about consumer media consumption and interaction in the UK (but which broadly resembles the US experience). No surprise, perhaps, but more internet access is done using smartphones than laptops. TV viewing still tops in terms of hours of usage (although I have my doubts about the accuracy of the stats here (a TV being turned on = a TV being watched, may overstate the amount of TV watching)).
Mobile is, indeed, eating everything as I wrote here , and all publishers, eCommerce sites, and any0ne else who interacts with customers, users, etc., needs to pay attention to "mobilizing" their business.
